We've rolled out some new features on Scholar to enhance the academic resource sharing, as well as enable you to build relationships and networks with other Scholars.  So check them out, enjoy, and keep the feedback and suggestions coming! Just use the Contact Us link from anywhere within Scholar.  Scholar on! 

• Expand your profile - Provide more information about yourself, including Contact Information, Interests, Education and Work History.  
   

• Upload your picture - Upload a picture of yourself to represent you and your profile throughout Scholar. 
   

• Control who can see each part of your profile - Granular privacy controls for the new profile sections allow you to designate who can see what. 
   

• Find other people with similar interests - Tag your profile with "Interests" and find people with similar interests. 
   

• Create and manage your Network - Build relationships with other Scholars and create your Network of Friends, Favorites and Fans. 
   

• Update your status - Keep your Network up-to-date on what's going on with you. Every time you update your status message, your network will get notified.
   

• Manage your Scholar information - Manage your Scholar notifications, status messages and invites within Scholar. 
   

• Customize your new Scholar Home - Your new Scholar Home gives you a window into all of your Scholar features including your streams, Tag Cloud, Profile, Network and Notifications.  
   

• Search better - Try the new user search feature to find other Scholars or filter bookmark searches by your Network. 
   

• Invite people to join Scholar - Invite people to join Scholar to start sharing their resources and building relationships. 
   

• Export My Bookmarks - Now you can take your Scholar bookmarks with you.
   

• Enhanced Import Bookmarks features - Now you assign Discipline tags and Course tags to your bookmark import to quickly and effectively build up or add to a robust collection of resources.    
   

• Launch bookmark in a new window/tab - a new icon beside each bookmark allows you to access that resource in a new window or tab while preserving your current Scholar activity.
   

• Expand/collapse Streams - You can now expand bookmarks in your streams to get more information right from the your Scholar Home page.
